The Westside Food Fest

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 31st, 2010. That’s the date for the Westside Food Fest, and it’s where all the action will be.

Not only do you get your choice of food trucks and music, you’ll also support the work being done by Achievable–”a community nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities by providing support to help them live more independent, productive lives.”

Tickets are $5.00, all the proceeds are for a good cause, and the following benefits below are what you can expect:

Westside Food Fest Features 14 food trucks:

Fishlips Sushi – Fresh sushi on the go
India Jones Chow Truck – Gourmet, authentic Indian food
Komodo – Street food with a gourmet twist
Munchie Machine – Sandwiches, salads, s’mores and other munchies
Mandoline Grill – Traditional and vegan Vietnamese treats
Dosa – South Indian street food with an LA twist
SliceTruck – Hugely delicious pizza
Phamish – Vietnamese comfort food
Vizzi Truck – Fine, coastal inspired cuisine
Del’s Frozen Lemonade – Soft, frozen Italian fruit ice
Ahn Joo – A mobile take on the Korean pub
Papas Tapas – Delectable Spanish appetizers
Sweets Truck – A gourmet bakeshop and coffeeshop
Maui Wowi – Fresh fruit smoothies, rich Hawaiian coffees and other authentic products

4 musical groups:

The Cowsills, Hanah Moon, Rio Wyles — MC SoulShocker, and Arrest My Sister

Plus, amazing raffle prizes, a marketplace and a community resource fair. So, on Saturday, July 31st, head over to Venice High School from 12:00-4:00pm.
