Have you ever thought about adding solar panels to your house, but didn’t quite know how to go about it?

Or maybe you’re interested with the idea of going solar, but don’t think it will look good, then if youwant to learn more about solar power and its possible uses, then a great place to start is with the West Los Angeles Solar Tour.

Taking place on Saturday, September 2nd, 2010, the Open Neighborhoods, a local social networking organization, and the Sierra Club’s LA Beyond Coal Campaign, have pooled their resources together to move our economy toward a clean energy future.

The general public is encouraged to take part in the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour. The West Los Angeles tour will take place in Mar Vista and adjacent communities from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The tours will be conducted via several carpools.
