The First Annual Santa Monica’s Montana Avenue Artwalk

Jul 14, 2010 by Lisa Newton

With the Downtown Art Walk, the Miracle Mile Art Walk, and the Huntington Beach Art Walk, just to name a few, why have another one?

Because each Art Walk offers a different perspective of art, different galleries to visit, different restaurants to discover, and different neighborhoods to explore.

On Thursday, July 22, from 5:00-9:00pm, Montana Avenue, in Santa Monica, will be transformed into a 10-block art gallery.

That’s right. It’s the first Annual Montana Avenue Artwalk!

Featuring the work of more than 50 artists and live musicians, plus, refreshments, dining specials, and a few unannounced surprises, the Montana Avenue Artwalk will take place from 7th – 17th Streets.

    Hi There:

Thanks so much for writing about the first annual Montana Avenue Artwalk…we really appreciate it. Just a quick note…the link you provided for the Purple Poppy is to a store back east, not the one on Montana Avenue. They don’t have a website, just a Facebook page. Can you please link to that…!/purplepoppyboutique?ref=search. Many thanks,
