About a week ago, I mentioned that I recently went to Palm Springs. After passing by the San Gorgonio Pass Wind Farm, I headed into town. Being my first visit, I was really looking forward to it.

But, where was I going to stay?

At a quaint bed and breakfast named POSH Palm Springs

Built in the mid-40s, Posh Palm Springs was totally revamped and renovated at the beginning of 2010. Each of the 11 posh rooms welcomes guests with warm colors, details like a small aquarium on the bedside table, floral centerpieces, comfy bedspreads, and a feeling of home.

As soon as you enter, this is what you see:

Each room faces the beautiful pool, which is the perfect place to relax in the lounge chair with a book, bask in the warm Palm Springs sun, or jump in and test the water.

Being the only bed and breakfast to earn the prestigious Diamond Collection from BedandBreakfast.com in the first year, POSH Palm Springs is the perfect getaway for a weekend away from the big city.

It’s hard to believe that within a two hour drive, you feel like you’re worlds away.

In days gone by, affluent passengers of the most renowned steamships would often request a POSH suite onboard.

POSH symbolizes your desire to be assured of following the sun, while ensuring your luxury for the entire voyage.

Enjoying 350 days of sun each year, POSH Palm Springs goes out of its way to make you feel relaxed and totally indulged.

Innkeepers Suzy, Mike, and Jeff are there to take care of your every whim.

Having enormous credentials from corporate America, they followed the dream of owning a boutique bed and breakfast; indeed, they spent over a year or so traveling cross country, to find the right property.

Who knew Mike and Suzy would find their diamond in the rough in Palm Springs.

Being from the East Coast, it never occurred to me that each poolside room as being a bed and breakfast–but putting their personal mark on every aspect of POSH, Suzy, and Mike outdid themselves.
