Boyle Heights Farmers Market is every Friday

Oct 06, 2010 by Lisa Newton

Since its inception on Friday, July 9, 2010, The Boyle Heights Farmers Market has become a gathering place to buy some veggies or even some kettle corn; but most of all, the Boyle Heights Farmers Market helps its residents to connect with the community. Indeed, that’s the best part of every farmers market.

Part of that connection are the special events that the Boyle Heights Farmers Market provides–take this October for example.

For the next three Friday’s; October 8th, 15th, and 22nd, you can join the 1st ever "BH Pumpkin Patch.”

Purchase your pumpkin and carve it on the spot!

Take a family picture at their Hay Stack Area…it’s lots of fun for the whole Family!

Don’t forget all of the live music and entertainment that’s there also.

For people who are driving to the Boyle Heights Farmers Market, there’s free parking on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Bailey Street.

But, there’s only enough room for about 30 vehicles, so the best way to get there is via the Metro Gold Line. If you’re going to drive, get there early and try and find street parking.

What else can I say but enjoy yourself and have a great time!
