Or a swimming pool with a full summer schedule?

That’s only the short list; Almansor Park also has plenty of picnic tables with covered shelters, playgrounds with equipment for children that’s new and safe, barbecue facilities, plenty of restrooms, excellent tennis courts, horseshoe pits, meeting and activity rooms, a gymnasium, outdoor and indoor basketball courts, and of course a restaurant, banquet hall, and facilities for weddings.

Who could ask for more? Next time when Travelin’ Local, leave your troubles behind, select a sport or something to do today and head all over to Alhambra’s Almansor Park—a hidden gem in the San Gabriel Valley that only the locals know about.

But not anymore, so, today, head out for some fun in the sun–it will keep you healthy, wealthy, and wise.

I live less than a mile from this park, a great place to visit if you are around the area.

There are also Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts/Gym, Indoor volleyball and Badminton, and an exterior trail that runs along the Freight Rail line past the Municipal Vehicle Yard.

@LZ, Thanks for the additional information, LZ. I’m not often in that area, but the next time I go, I’ll definitely bring my walking clothes. :)
