A Celebration of Breakfast in Los Angeles

Jun 07, 2010 by Lisa Newton

Fresh steaming coffee, tasty eggs over easy, scrambled, oatmeal with almonds, pancakes, crepes, dim sum, and toast and jam, is to name just a few of what our favorite morning foods are. Today Los Angeles restaurants cater to everybody who loves their breakfast in thousands of places, in so many ways, and with dishes that may be similar or served in their Nouvelle cuisine at that local cool cafe. Today, Travelin’ Local is celebrating the tradition of breakfast.

Below are just a few different restaurants you might want to dine at. Although LA is spread out, maybe you want a breakfast place right next door, or not. Some of these restaurants may not be that close–but you might be surprised just how close they are:

Culver City, Glendale, South LA, Mid-Wilshire, Manhattan Beach, Sherman Oaks, Hollywood……………………………………Just click one of the restaurant logos below to find out more.

Carpe Diem, let’s eat……

I like The Pantry, a true greasy spoon, with a lot of history going for it, just a few blocks from my loft in downtown LA. it’s a great place for breakfast when you feel the need for some grease.

@O. Bisogno Scotti, I’ve heard great things about the Pantry. It’s on my list of places to go, not only for the food, but for the history you mentioned.
